Gazelle
Gazelle™ is a high performance, modular receiver system that utilizes a high speed bus that can house up to 4 independent receiver modules which simultaneously logs the RF energy needed to plot out coverage maps. Gazelle™ is designed from the ground up to provide hot-swappable components including removable/rechargeable Li-Ion battery, SD (Secure Digital) card storage, internal 12-channel GPS receiver and 4 removable receiver modules. The Gazelle’s unique modular high speed digital scanning receivers exceed the distance based averaging required to meet 40 lambda criteria essential for critical propagation analysis. The Gazelle is a low cost test system that is ideal for pre-build-out that provides analysis for the more advanced modulated systems utilizing WiMAX or LTE technologies.

Beetle-BANG
BEETLE - B/A/N/G is a wireless test receiver system that verifies, sweeps, measures and optimizes all popular 802.11 Wi-Fi network standards including 802.11b/g (2.4 GHz), 802.11a (5 GHz) and even 802.11n. The calibrated receiver is a passive measurement device that is network independent so it remains “invisible” to any Wi-Fi network. When equipped with a BVS DF (Direction Finding) antenna, BEETLE - B/A/N/G locates and pinpoints rogue MACs, APs, STAs and SSIDs. Powerful packet analysis features such as Multipath (Ec/Io), Delay Spread, Channel Frequency Response (CFR), SSID and Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) give BEETLE - B/A/N/G the distinction of being the only true handheld Wi-Fi packet analysis and direction finding tool accurate to within +1 dB. BEETLE - B/A/N/G can wirelessly detect rogue APs, hackers or any nearby MAC and can also connect directly to network installations for precise antenna alignment and optimization.

DragNet
DragNet™ combines the power of realtime YellowFin™ WiMAX measurements with GPS geo-coding accuracy. First, create your survey bitmaps with Berkeley’s GPS PROJECTOR software. Next, simply drive to any spot with GPS reception while DragNet™ COLLECTOR scans selected WiMAX Mobile channels and correlates them to your exact location automatically via GPS. GPS measurements provide both LAT and LON as well as time stamping for a complete WiMAX survey path anywhere in the world. Finally, survey data such as RSSI, Cell ID & Segment ID data on a preamble basis may be exported into DragNet’s ANALYZER for further mapping coverage studies in multiple graphical and tabular layouts. Surveys may be exported further into KML files for plotting in applications such as Google Earth™.

Tortoise
Tortoise™ is a portable, rugged, high-power transmitter system composed of dual independent, transmitter modules giving the user freedom to transmit on any 2 unique frequency bands simultaneously without the need for expensive and bulky additional transmitters. Tortoise features two dynamically controlled Class A amplifiers for the cleanest signal output and VSWR protection. Tortoise features built-in thermal overheat protection circuity with quad cooling fans to ensure against overheating during operation. Remote adjustments include power level, channel or frequency assignment and transmit On/Off via USB, RS-232 and Ethernet from anywhere. An optional WiMAX modulator allows the Tortoise transmitter to simulate a fully functional 802.16e base station for the ultimate in deployment accuracy and precision.

YellowFin WiMAX Analyzer
YellowFin™ WiMAX analyzer is the world’s first truly portable WiMAX test receiver. This handheld unit utilizes the Samsung Q1 tablet UMPC as an interface in conjunction with Berkeley’s precision receiver technology for complete spectrum analysis as well as WiMAX packet demodulation. The receiver sweeps the 2.0 - 5.9 GHz spectrums to within +1.5 dB accuracy. YellowFin™ performs full spectrum analysis allowing RF engineers to see the whole wireless network picture. Features include power triggers, peak hold/search, markers and multiple waveform traces. WiMAX packet analysis includes RSSI measurements for ID cell & segment, multipath and CINR (Carrier-to-Interference-plus-Noise-Ratios). The optional DF (Direction Finding) Antenna allows engineers to pinpoint sources of WiMAX interference, rogue base stations and even nearby hackers. YellowFin™ site survey software (optional) enables users to perform site surveys revealing mapping coverage, reliability analysis, overlap and dead spots on any WiMAX network.

Swarm
Swarm™ combines the power of realtime Yellowjacket® 802.11 B/A/G Wi-Fi measurements with GPS geo-coding accuracy. Swarm™ only needs a few reference points to fill in the locations for the rest making it effective for quick outdoor studies. GPS measurements provide both LAT and LON as well as time stamping for a complete Wi-Fi survey path anywhere in the world. Swarm™ allows JPEG screen snapshots to be taken at particular points of interest throughout the survey. Survey data such as RSSI, MAC and SSID may be exported into Swarm™ ANALYZER for further mapping coverage studies in multiple graphical and tabular layouts. Surveys may be exported further into KML files for plotting in applications such as Google Earth™.
